Neil Slater - Director
With over 30 years experience working on both Residential and Commercial projects, from house additions to multi million dollar homes, and commercial projects along with site management of the construction. I started my career in 1988 studying in the UK. I then had the opportunity to work overseas at Architectural practices in both Australia and Bermuda before settling in New Zealand in 2006. Becoming a Director of Michael Wyatt Architect Ltd in 2008, working on numerous high end residential projects along with exciting commercial work such as the Remarkables Ski base building & the current Skyline gondola project. Since forming our new practice, NJS Architecture Ltd in 2019, we have designed numerous Residential and Commercial buildings, and continue to look forward to new projects with innovative and unique results.
Valerie Slater - Administration Manager
With over 20 years of administration experience Valerie has superb communication and organisational skills. Originally from the UK, Valerie obtained her BA in Hotel Management in 1989, she has subsequently worked in prestigious hotels both in the UK and Bermuda. Having moved to NZ, Valerie has worked in varied Office Management roles.
Jason Honeyfield - Architectural Technician
Initially studying in Christchurch, Jason moved to the tiny town of Lumsden Southland, where he graduated extramurally with a NDAT. Since graduation Jason has worked as a draftsman in the Southland region on both Residential and Commercial projects. He enjoys 3D modelling rendering and solving complex details.
Debora Nakano - Architectural Rendering
Debora provides photo realistic renders using Cinerender and Procreate, she has a degree in Visual Arts. Originally from a small town in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Debora has been living in Queenstown for 4 years.
Sarah Moodie - Architectural Technican
With 10 years industry experience, Sarah is passionate about many aspects of Architecture and design. She loves putting ideas into Archicad and seeing the clients dream come to like. When Sarah is not as her desk she can be found running around after her busy little 1 year old son, and pet Labrador.
